Dane Christensen

Hi. I’m Dane Christensen. I’m a 45 year old man living in Hollister, California (a small town about an hour south of San Jose and two hours south of San Francisco). My wife, Patricia, and I have one daughter, Sofia, age 5. I’m a pretty average middle-aged guy in many ways I suppose. I work for a web analytics company doing professional services during the week, and on the weekends I pick up a little extra web development work to help pay the bills. Between the job, the side work, spending time with my family and taking care of the house and all the other day-to-day details, it’s tough to make the time for serious projects. But I’ve committed to spending one hour a day between 5-6 pm each day building on this website.

In my younger years I was quite the go-getter. I started a few businesses but never really struck it rich. In fact, I really dug myself into a pretty deep financial hole over the years. I’ll reflect on my past experiences in future posts and try to glean some valuable lessons that perhaps you can learn from. But at this point, other than the knowledge gained, I have nothing to show for all those past efforts. I’m starting from scratch

What I think you’ll discover if you stay tuned to this website, is that I’m not as average as I seem on the surface. I believe I could make a more significant contribution to the world than I currently am. Not that loving and supporting a family is not contribution enough. It is. And that is my first priority. But I also think I have more to offer, and here is where I’ll begin.

Rich Benvin

Hey, I’m Rich. I’m a tennis pro and an Internet business entrepreneur. I’ve traveled all over the world as a tennis professional competing in tournaments, meeting new people and learning about their culture and society along the way. For years I was living out of my suitcase waking up in a different city or country every week. I speak Italian, French and German but I’m probably very rusty since I don’t travel as much anymore. I live in Denver, Colorado where I give private and group lessons and coach aspiring, young junior tennis players. You can find out more on my tennis blog.

I remember first surfing the Internet on a webtv and I just thought it was the coolest thing. With an educational background in business marketing I quickly became interested in building web sites, getting traffic and anything to do with Internet marketing. I learned a lot about affiliate programs, customer loyalty, and domain name management and in 2000 I accepted a position as a Marketing Manager for handy.de, a start-up in Hamburg, Germany and the third largest ecommerce web site right behind Ebay and Amazon.

My time is split between my love for tennis and my passion for Internet marketing. It’s as if I have two full-time jobs. The best part is I’m my own boss and I make my own schedule. It does require a lot of hard work, ambition and dedication to be self-employed but I just love what I do and can’t ever let go of the freedom and flexibility that comes with it.

I believe I have a lot to offer on this site and I will do my best to provide quality information to help you achieve your goals in the world of online business. And who knows, together we might really achieve true financial freedom.
